Michael Macdermid

Michael (bass & bohdran) grew up listening to his parents' collection of Irish and Australian folk records. He consequently became sick of the genre and pursued an interest in playing and mixing grungy rock. He finally grew up and realised that what he had been listening to for all those years in the back seat of the family car was actually quite good. He decided to have a go at playing it, and joined The Wake in October 2000, but still keeps his distortion pedal in the cupboard, just in case.
